Delete your Ringlite account

This page applies to Ringlite on the web, the Ringlite Android app and the Ringlite desktop app. They share one account, so deleting it removes access everywhere.
How to ask for deletion
- Log in to Ringlite in a web browser.
- Open Settings → Security.
- Under Delete account, choose Request account deletion, enter your password and send the request.
If you cannot log in, email support@ringlite.io from your account's email address with the subject "Delete my account".
We confirm the request by email and complete it within 30 days.
Workspace owners
If you own a workspace, deleting your account closes the whole workspace: its phone numbers are released, its plan is cancelled, and every member loses access. To keep the workspace running, transfer ownership to another member first, then ask to delete your own account.
What we delete
- Your profile: name, email, phone number, password, passkeys and two-factor settings.
- Your sign-in sessions and signed-in app devices.
- For a closed workspace: contacts, messages, call history, voicemails, recordings, transcripts, AI summaries, uploaded files and settings.
- Identity verification data we hold for your workspace. Our verification provider deletes its copy under its own retention rules.
What we keep, and for how long
- Invoices and payment records: kept for 7 years, because tax and accounting law requires it.
- Call and message logs and recordings still in backups or carrier records: deleted within 90 days.
- Everything else is deleted when we complete the request, within 30 days.
- To prevent fraud, we may keep a one-way fingerprint of identifiers from an account that was closed for abuse, so it cannot sign up again.
Deleting some data without deleting the account
To delete specific data, such as a recording or a conversation, without closing your account, email support@ringlite.io.
